Donor and Surrogacy
When a woman is not able to carry a pregnancy but the couple would like to parent their biological child, the couple can use the services of a surrogate-a woman who carries a child for someone else.  Egg donation might also play a role in your infertility treatment.  Share and explore thoughts and experiences with surrogacy and egg donation.

Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) and Screening (PGS)
Pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) refers to when one or both genetic parents has a known genetic abnormality and testing is performed on an embryo to see if it also carries a genetic abnormality.  Pre-implantation genetic screening (PGS) refers to techniques where embryos from presumed chromosomally normal genetic parents are screened for aneuploidy (an abnormal number of chromosomes).
